The Slaughtered Lamb for beer swirling and chit chat we thought it was about time we sampled the food, in particular the fish finger sandwich. Bustling with a Friday lunch time crowd and early weekend starters we were lucky enough to find a table of dwellers on the way out. Popular or what!
Straight in at the bar ordering a fish finger sandwich and a side order of chips it took less than ten minutes for this to appear at our table, result! The chips were to die for, golden, light and crunchy. The bulging fish finger sandwich on soft white bread was impressive. Accompanied by tarter and ketchup this dish might be labelled a snack but it packs in a punch that could settle a stomach for a good night out.
The fish finger sandwich comes in at £6 and three English coins gets you the chips. Great service, friendly atmosphere and good surrounds. Every Friday should be a fish finger Friday at the Slaughtered Lamb. Fact!
